Does your Resume tell the story about YOU?

Quite frankly, resumes can be boring and in a pile of hundreds, they all look the same.  The human resource person reads the same action verbs: "motivated," "collaborated," "implemented" and so forth.  In that pile, does your resume have a chance of "standing out" from the crowd?

Probably not, if you used the same cookie cutter descriptive words as the other candidates.  Set yourself apart by telling a "story" about you that's unique, memorable and includes a summary about who you are and your accomplishments.

The following link is a short story about a human resource manager who encountered the daily pile of boring resumes, and then one day she came across a resume and with one sentence changed her perspective on resumes.  Read the article and see how to set yourself apart from other candidates while conforming to the general guidelines of resume writing.  Who knows, that "one" unique sentence can land you that interview and ultimately that job! http://www.linkedin.com/today/post/article/20130927180803-52594-does-your-resume-tell-your-story
